Weekend in Annapolis

My bf and I went to Annapolis for the weekend! I highly recommend this place for weekend get-a-ways. I was actually able to relax, we ate great food and the weather was perfect. Best restaurant was Maria's (Italian) and best icecream was Annapolis Old Icecream Shop (strawberry). People are incredibly nice in this town, even with all of the tourists, surprisingly - which means that DC-ers have no excuse. There are all kinds of people here - strange, leathered old people with speedboats with far too little clothing, all the way to the very stylish Yacht Club members. A great escape only one hour or less from DC.
